Want to keep an eye on your system stats all the time without installing additional software? Windows has a built-in feature that lets you pin a performance monitor to your screen. Here’s how to set it up:
1. Open the Performance Tab
Press Windows + G to open the Xbox Game Bar. This menu provides various tools for gamers and general users alike.
2. Locate the Performance Widget
Find the Performance tab in the menu and open it.
3. Pin the Widget
After opening the widget, click the small pin icon to ensure it stays on your screen.
4. Position It on the Taskbar
Drag the widget to your preferred spot on the taskbar or any other convenient location. Once you click away, it will stay exactly where you placed it, and you won’t accidentally interact with it.
That’s it! You now have a performance monitor on your taskbar, giving you real-time stats at a glance.
